Filipino Potluck

Filipinos favorite obsession is eating. To sum it all, we eat five times a day with rice as staple food together with the in-between sweets, chips and even midnight snacks. Filipino parties and gatherings is not complete without the presence of food and potluck is very common among us.

We usually bring our favorite dish requested by the celebrants which we cooked ourselves. Believe me, our german friends probably tired of eating their foods are asking for lumpia, pansit, chopsuey and some even eat adobong pusit and dinuguan.

We socialize but aim basically to satisfy our taste for foods. Do we eat to live or live to eat, i think both, life is nothing without those cholesterol loaded filipino cooking.

For me, my share in every gatherings is always turon, leche plan, adobong baboy and sometimes macaroni salad.
