Happy and Sad Meals

Yesterday, we have our lunch at McDonalds because Kati, joy's daughter wanted a Happy Meal (nuggets and fries) as a present. I think majority of the children just liked the toy that accompanied the meal. A Happy meal here in Germany costs 3.99 euro and our happy meal back home is 50% cheaper.

Today, we visited dirk in the hospital. He is presently confined at Klinikum Offenburg because of his cyst operation. He lose a lot of blood during the operation. I know he is in pain but he still managed to joked on us, very typical jolly dirk. He was just given a slice of bread for dinner and he is not satisfied so he asked me to bring foods on my next visit because he dislike the hospital foods.
