Like other fruit, Dates are a seasonal product, however, palmwonders provides processed dried dates all year round. It became my favorite after-dinner dessert because of its nutritional value. It is a good source of carbohydrate, fiber, potassium and other vitamins. I would say that i'm not a vegetable and fruit eater but since i started eating dates, i never stopped since then.
A date fruit is the product of a date palm, a tree native to northern africa and the middle east where it had been the staple food for many years. Dried dates are usually readily available in most markets and fresh ones can be found in specialty markets in season.
