A Tiring Friday

Today is a day full of actions, tiring but enjoyable. In the morning i joined lucy in the fitness center. It was my first time to go to the gym and i prepared for it. First, i bought a rubber shoes and gym outfit unfortunately the rubber shoes i bought at SM are of different size, i didnt notice it, i cannot return it because i already remove the size tag, but thats life. I have lots of rubber shoes in germany but i didnt bring it with me coz i'm really not a gym freak. I just wanted to shed some unwanted pounds i gain during the holidays. I spend one hour in the treadmill with the help of a trainer, stretching exercises with a matching back and leg massage.

While losing some calories, dirk together with three other golf buddies, an american, british and a japanese played golf. We then have lunch at our favorite shakeys restaurant in which we're already a regular customer with 10 percent discount.



Mel, a golfer and a successful businessman in laguna with seven companies invited us to his 50th birthday in tagaytay. He is very simple, humble, helpful and a down to earth person as attested by his relatives, friends in business and his employees in which a video of his life was shown on a big screen.


It was well planned, really nice party ambience, wonderful decorations and delicious foods. There is also live music, program and some teasing blues for the celebrant.


It was attended by more than 300 guests where we also met heinz, a german CEO who owned a big company in the first cavite industrial zone. He's here in the Philippines for 12 years, had successful marriage with a filipina and 2 kids. We're going to visit him soon, he is set to have lunch with our philippine president soon.

We underestimate the weather in tagaytay, its really very cold and we forgot to bring a jacket or pullover. The temperature is 23 grad but it did not spoil the party and the warm reception given to us by the golden boy.
