Chinese Tikoy

No chinese new year is ever complete without tikoy or nian gao in chinese. It became a standard delicacy for filipinos especially during this holiday celebration. Many believe that to have lots of chinese new year pudding or rice cakes on the eve of chinese new year brings good luck and prosperity.

Last year, i tried to bring tikoy to germany but it gone kaputt because of our 5-day stopover to shenzhen, china. Then, my luggage got lost and reappear a week after. The other day, i bought tikoy in two variations, one from local store here and another from SM, but there's no difference in taste. I like it very much eventhough i dont have any chinese lineage. Next time, i will try the tikoy ube flavor.

Today, i have my first aerobics and yoga session at the fitness center. Oh mann, my whole body hurts but i like it and will do it every week. After the demanding floor exercises with matching dumbells, we proceed to dermaline for a relaxing massage.

KUNG HEI FAT CHOI!!!!! Happy Chinese New Year!!!!!
