The National Shrine of Saint Padre Pio

Padre Pio is one of my favorite Saint and visiting his Shrine located at Santo Tomas, Batangas is one check off on my bucket lists. Together with my sisters, we took the long road via Talisay going to the Shrine and i know that Padre Pio is guiding our way. The wall less church of the shrine welcomes pilgrims from all parts of the country and some even come from other parts of the world. According to the Parish Priest Fr. Jojo, Padre Pio was very close to Christ to the point that he got the stigmata, the five wounds in his hands, feet and side. There are lots of miracles attributed to Saint Padre Pio and i'm also one of the firm believer that He will answer my prayers. The trip also serve as bonding moments with my two sisters and on the way home, we drive through the highway which is more convenient. Anyway, now that we know the right direction, we will visit again the shrine soon.
