Southforbes Halloween 2016

For the southforbes villas halloween party, this year's theme is hotel transylvania. Black costumes dominates as they also do house to house for the yearly trick or treating. As usual i prepared goodies and candies for them to enjoy.

Mary Mother of Mercy Home for the Elderly and Abandoned

Maureen started helping and supporting the abandoned grandmothers ten years ago and since then its her advocacy to help them during her birthday. I joined them five years ago and i really feel good everytime we go there to do our shares of helping. On a sad note, the number of Lolas decreased because of their demise but there are also new ones.

Calamba Host Lions Club Halloween 2016

Two nights ago, Yna and me attended the halloween get together of the Calamba Host Lions Club. Its nice to bond with my lions family for i havent seen them for a long time but we are all updated in all activities because of facebook. I would admit that i seldom attend meetings and other project undertaking because of my caregiving duties with Dirk. Anyway, we came in our best halloween costume and after the sumptuous dinner, we started the Lions meeting.

My Childhood Friend

Finally, we were able to see and bond with Janet, a childhood friend whom we did not see for 45 years. I still remember that we cried a lot when their family migrated to the US in the 70's. She and her husband are now based in Texas and retired from her work at American Airlines. They spend two days with us and we did go to Tagaytay, Punta Fuego, Canyon Cove and pampered ourselves with massage, foot spa, manicure and pedicure. During those bonding moments, we dont stop talking about the past, there is really a lot of catching up to do. Hopefully they will consider retiring here and looking forward to see also her other siblings.
