For many years Chinese presence here in our country has been well-established that almost anything Chinese has seemingly rubbed off on Filipinos – from food and business practices to certain beliefs that have much to do with New Year welcome preparations. It’s impossible not to feel the festive mood that comes with the Chinese New Year even in our place here.
Steve and Lani, a very good friends of ours celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary today and it becomes a double celebration because of the chinese new year. I was really surprised with the abundance of pinoy dishes, sweets, chinese foods and fruits that will bring luck to everybody. Its not only the foods and drinks are overflowing, laughter and fun also overwhelmed their cozy nest.
To you Steve and Lani, happy wedding anniversary again and Kung Hei Fat Choy also. Wishing you and your family more blessings and good health. Words are not enough to express our heartfelt thank to both of you, you're such a wonderful couple. God bless your family.
