The Balikbayan box can explain a lot about our cultural traits. We're sending imported goods and electronic gadgets though we also have those items in our local stores in the Philippines. Being an expatriates, we find it easy to buy these items (mostly on sale) while here in Germany but once we return home, these items are no longer our priority. On our part we're only sending items that are not available and expensive in the Philippines.
Yesterday, we did bring our balikbayan boxes to Joy's place because of the 20 euro discount. It is only applicable it the cargo service pick up 4 boxes in one place at the same time eventhough different senders and shipping address.
