Our Köln Adventure

We're lucky that when we drive to Köln to attend the 80th birthday of Mutti, the weather was so nice. There's only some area that are foggy and the remaining snow in the mountain. There's also a 5 kilometer traffic on the opposite direction because of road construction.




Upon arriving in Köln, we first visited the cemetery where Dirk's father was burried 13 years ago.




As soon as we arrive at Mutti's place, we did proceed to the nearby China Restaurant for lunch.



While waiting for our hotel room to be available, we did drive to Köln city proper to visit the Köln Cathedral and do some shopping.


Inside the Cathedral, i lighted candles for the internal repose of the souls of my departed loved ones especially my mother who's also celebrating her birthday on that day. Mutti shared the same birthdate with my mother and only brother.



Of course, Köln visit is not complete without visiting my favorite Louis Vuitton shop. We did browse inside the LV shop and we were assisted by two chinese ladies sales staff.

The next day, before driving back to Offenburg, we did returned to Mutti's place where i have photo ops in her big and spacious living room.
