The Spirit of Christmas

Christmas here in the Philippines is really beyond words. We always take time to spend this very special and important celebration with our loved ones and friends. Christmas is sharing your blessings, big or small, it is the thought that counts.

Not only people put a lot of efforts to make it very special, you just feel the Christmas spirits here more than anywhere in the world. They often says christmas are just for children, but i think its for everybody young and old alike. In keeping with the tradition of gift giving, i started wrapping christmas presents for my grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

It is said that the Philippines has the longest and merriest Christmas season in the world. For where else can you find Christmas carols being played as early as late October, and Christmas decors being taken down only after the Feast of the Three Kings

Indeed christmas has gone beyond a changing of seasons, it has become a state of mind shared by an entire people. It is a time for family and a time for food, fun and friendship. For me, the true meaning of christmas is giving, sharing, loving and forgiving.
