Germany's discount stores like Aldi, Lidl and Penny Markt are benefiting from the growing global economic crisis. More customers regardless of social status opted to save money when buying groceries and other household items.



Before we used to shop for our food and house needs at Edeka, but now due to the worldwide recession, we decided to shop at discount stores for practical reasons.
