The NATO Summit

The NATO summit meeting of head of states which includes American President Obama enjoyed a nice weather here in Germany and France. I felt sad that Philippines is one of the four countries blacklisted as uncooperative tax haven. Aside from our country, the OECD also named Uruguay, Costa Rica and Malaysian Territory of Labuan as the worst offenders for refusing to adopt new rules of financial openness.

This should serve as a wake up call to our government officials to do something so that we should be off the list.
