After four days in the hospital, dirk is getting better. Unlike the past days that he is only allowed to drink black tea and horrible taste water solution, today there's some improvement in his liquid intake. For lunch, he was given a soup that is not soup at all because its still water with some taste and for dinner, a chocolate drink and the never ending tea.
He also had three times a day antibiotic infusion to treat his colitis and his big bandage on the operated appendix was now changed to a small one.
Contrary to dirk's food, we had our lunch at Kaufland today and feasted on whole chicken and french fries.
