The Emergency Room

Last week when Dirk was hospitalized, i was able to watch the whole process done on him in the emergency room. I witnessed the normal flow of traffic in the ER, the people involved and the special technique used to respond to life or death situation. The ER which operate around the clock provide initial treatment to patients with illnesses and injuries, some of which may be life-threatening and requiring immediate attention.


I also saw a medical helicopter carrying a car accident victim landing on the hospital helipad. Its really a matter of life and death and in this situation every second counts.
