We just came back from the wine festival in Oberkirch, 12 kilometer from our place. It's one of the big wine fest here in the Ortenau. But this year is different because they're celebrating their 60th year.
It feature live music just like oktoberfest, beer and wines are overflowing

There are also gigantic pans with different dishes enough to feed the merry-makers and villagers
Children can also enjoy different rides. Winefest is for young, old and people from all walks of life.

The highlight of the fest is the wine parade participated by 60 groups mostly wine producers in the area.
The farmers, musicians and wine queens/princess, school children, wine owners association and other groups also joined the parade.
