Yesterday, my cousin Libay as we fondly called her, celebrated her 40th birthday. It was attended mostly by relatives and close friends. The guests ate vegetable salads fresh from her garden and some filipino foods. Her Husband also grilled some sausages, meat and barbeque. There are also pinoy delicacies like biko, leche plan, cassava cake and assortment of cakes.
It was a day full of fun, exchanging jokes and updates on our lives.

birthdays are a good excuse to get together and enjoy pinoy food ;-) i cooked some pinoy goodies up for my hubby who recently celebrated his birthday ;-)
