The Mekong River

The mekong river is one of the world's major rivers. It is the 12th longest river in the world. From tibetan plateau, it runs through china's yunnan province, burma, thailand, laos, cambodia and vietnam.

It is during our trip to cambodia and vietnam, that i realized how hard the life of the people there especially those living in the floating village along mekong river.



The same with the boat pople of vietnam where they make their living around mekong delta. There are also thousands of motorcyles plying in all direction of Ho Chi Minh City popularly known as saigon, a big and chaotic metropolis like manila.


Back home, we also have the same scene,tricyles that are overloaded with people, with stuff like below and also serve as transporter for cabinets, etc


Filipinos are still lucky, thanks to the 11 million overseas filipino workers whose remittance boost our economy and besides our ability to speak english is our major advantage than of our other asian counterparts.
