Igel is now back to life after sleeping for 6 months. In october or november, hedgehog fall into a winter sleep. Thats why when we see one in the neighbors garden today, the igel probably just woke up after a loooong sleep.
During the winter sleep, they dont eat nor drink. They have stored enough fats to survive the long hibernation and they become smaller. As soon as they wake up, they started searching for foods like insects, earthworms, snails and some green food.
