For the past eight years, its my first time to decorate a christmas tree. It's because we always leave germany in november and return a day before christmas. Now that we're spending christmas and new year here, i really got excited putting christmas lanterns, lights on our windows and putting star and decors on our lovely christmas tree. I also find enjoyment and fullfilment of wrapping christmas presents and most of all, to spend christmas with family, friends and loved ones.
Today, dirk played only nine holes because of the tournament for a big construction company. I also distributed my christmas presents to the southforbes girls, locker guys and golf bag carrier. I can see in their faces the happiness of receiving gifts and i find inner happiness as well sharing our blessings which is indeed the true meaning of christmas. Its not the price of what you give, but the thought of remembering them this season. We then meet our contractor for the electrical layout on the foundation.
In the evening, a couple who served as my second parents visited me at home. I owe a lot of gratitude to my foster parents for being there during the lowest lows of my life. up to now, they're still doing their duties as grandparents to my children . I really feel blessed having a wonderful partner and a supportive family around.
