Filipino Delicacies

Not only the philippine handicrafts are offered in shopping malls but native delicacies or kakanin as well. Kakanin is the generic term for sweet steamed rice cakes often cooked with coconut oil like biko, bibingka, sapin-sapin, maja blanca etc.

Filipinos cook a wide variety of sweet desserts and snacks and this are not just for special occasion. Kakanin plays a big part in filipino culture and tradition and its really a pinoy thing from breakfast to merienda. Having a sweet tooth, i always crave for my favorite sapin sapin and ricecake.

Our local buko juice, a good match for our native delicacies
