Breakfast at McDonald's

For a change, we had a late breakfast at McDonald's and Dirk is very happy when Ronalds M joined her for photo ops.

Every year Maureen spent her birthday by means of an outreach program at Mary Mother of Mercy Home for the Elderly and Abandoned in San Pedro, Laguna. Its our third year of joining her though she's now based in Norway. Every year i noticed that the number of abandoned Lolas are decreasing because of old age and some are getting more sickly eventhough they get medical attention. I'm very happy that we were able to continue the legacy that Mau started with the help of Mau's family, friends, our neighbor Yna and her family and of course my daughter Astrid. Truly, there's a joy in giving, sharing and helping the needy elderlies.

My Everyday Passenger

Our four-legged furry housemate Chay is my regular passenger in the car everyday. I think its already in her system that once Dirk prepared for swimming, her excitement comes automatically. She knows that we will go to the clubhouse for Dirk's swimming therapy and there she will play with kids, chase the cats and run around.

Christmas Committee Meeting

After the Halloween, now its time to prepare for the christmas season. As part of the decor team (again) we discussed different options on how to make our christmas party this year a festive one. This year we are going to have a santa claus who will be giving gifts for the kids. Our theme is Trip to Bethlehem and we will be having a Belen on all the gates and in the main clubhouse as well. Hopefully more homeowners are going to participate this years christmas party. But for me, every christmas is the time for giving and sharing our blessings to the less fortunate.

Southforbes Halloween Party 2015

The southforbes halloween party was held at multipurpose because our main clubhouse is still under renovation. As expected the kids enjoyed the trick or treat offered by neighbors with candies and goodies. They participated in the program and awards were also given to kids with enchanting costumes. By the way, Halloween in Wonderland is the theme this year. There are food stalls in the venue, a free ice cream and photo booth was courtesy of Globe.

Halloween Committee

As part of the southforbes halloween committee, we are incharge of the programs flow and the decoration at the multipurpose. We worked as a team and make sure that the kids and their families will enjoy this year trick or treat/halloween party.
