It was a busy Wednesday for us, we first visited my daughter's water station before proceeding to Filinvest Southpeak to visit my sister and her partner. We then drive to South Forbes for Dirk swimming, then to Nuvali to get my new eyeglass at Magno Optical. We also tried the newly opened Salad Stop, bought some house stuff at Wilcon and All Home and also plants on our way home.
Yesterday its Dirk's day because we were able to accomplish lots of his wishes. First he wanted to have a haircut with his favorite barber shop here in San Pedro. He liked it because its so cheap, for 100 pesos, he already had a haircut and shave. Then we drive to South Forbes for his swimming and then had lunch at Japanese restaurant in Nuvali because he is craving for Tonkatsu. It was then followed by teeth cleaning at Crown Dentistry and bought him his favorite donut. He cannot contain his happiness, he keep on repeating how happy he is and always thanking me for a wonderful day.
Casa Belle is now on its finishing phase and we are in the process of putting the baseboards and cornice. We are also slowly buying the furnitures needed and hopefully it is already livable by April. With all this accomplishment, i thank God and Mama Mary for guiding us during our house construction journey. I really felt their presence especially on the safety of our workers and cost decision making.
By the way, we also updated our RFID sticker on our car...
We started our week driving to RD Calamba to get the paper we need before proceeding to the lawyer for notary and get some information. We then bought some furnitures at All Home and had lunch there. Since we are near our South Forbes home, Dirk has to swim in the pool again. We are on our way home when i remember that i forgot his towel and boxer short for swimming, really became forgetful, sign of old age.
My daughters never forgot to send us gifts every valentines day, and we are so happy enjoying that moment. Though i still have cough that day, it doesn't stop me from eating the foods delivered to us. Thanks a lot my daughters Astrid, Arianne and Aizza for the valentine treats, happy tummy for cool mom.
By the way, i am slowly returning to my usual routine, first of course is tending to my new plants...

Valentines day is celebrated to remember the life and legacy of St. Valentine and to express love and affection towards others. Its a day to celebrate our love for our family, friends and even ourselves. Of course our love to Papa Jesus and Mama Mary is the most important one.
One way of celebrating hearts day is taking care of my own heart, medically. I have been suffering from rheumatic heart ever since i was small and it got worse as grow old. I am not getting any younger and so with my heart, i have aortic and valvular problem which makes me hard to breath. Because my latest 2d echo revealed a not so good result, we decided to drive to Philippine heart center for some consultation with specialist. He increased the dosage of my meds and added two, i am also going to do angiogram in three weeks. As i always said to my children, i leave everything to our Lord Almighty. I really lose a lot of weight because of the diuretic pills and i hope and pray, i will recover from my weigh loss.
Dirk's new favorite is spinach dip creamy pizza and mac and cheese from Angel's Pizza. He liked it very much that he wanted to order it again.
By the way, my mother in law also celebrated her 93d birthday in Germany, We are really happy that she reached that age but sad at the same time because she will now moved to the nursing home. Anyway, it will for her own good because she will not be alone, medical staff will check on her from time to time, she will eat together with other elderlies and there will always a program for them to do so it will not be boring.
