Shakeys Loyal Customers

Loyalty pays, thats what happened today with a lunch treat from Shakeys Paseo de Santa Rosa. For seven years, shakeys becomes part of our lives being our extended "kitchen" and the service crew as our "families". They also gave Dirk a free t-shirt and i wrote on their book sharing my memorable experiences with our favorite restaurant.

Visiting a Sick Neighbor Friend

Ted Shepherd is our neighbor here at southforbes who suffered a stroke three weeks ago that made his body paralyzed on the left side. Together with Evelyn and Richard, we visited him and bring him a cake courtesy of the Hasketts in Canada. We miss his bubbly self and his never ending stories. The family is planning to bring him to United Kingdom for medical treatment and we're wishing him fast recovery.

Bonding and Shopping

My sisters visited us here at southforbes and we had a wonderful bonding and shopping time. Though its raining and its so windy because of the two typhoons, that didnt stop us from having a wonderful sisterettes moments.

Dining in the Sky

Eventhough its raining hard because of two typhoons, we still decided to have lunch at The Nest in Vivere Hotel in Alabang. Because of the bad weather, we are the only customers that time. I noticed that they increased their food prices by fifty percent which is too much. In fairness, they improved their services and the restaurant is newly renovated.

Visa Application to South Korea

We are planning to visit Seoul next year and i applied for a South Korean visa. The Korean Embassy is located in Upper Mckinley in C5 thats why its really accessible to applicants. Its my first time to apply a visa which took only for less than a minute. I even said good morning to the Korean staff but she never answered back. She just looked at my passport and the required documents, get the release claim and thats it. Thanks to the blogger of awesomeplanet for the informations and pictures. I followed the procedures and got a 5-year multiple entry to Korea.

Garage Visitors

Its a rainy sunday because of the typhoon in the northern part of the country. Early in the morning, i was surprised to see under my car three newly born kittens and their mother. I just let them stayed there and just like human beings the mother cat is very protective of her babies.

Salam Anniversary

The employer of my daughter Astrid who is working in Qatar had their anniversary celebration yesterday. Its the first corporate event that she attended in her entire life. I'm very happy that she is now using her knowledge at work and the proper values in the workplace.
