Weekly Bowling with Friends

Yesterday, the wives and our "white" partners in life play bowling again at The Mills and Country Club. Bowling became our outlet every wednesday and also serve as bonding moments and girly talks for the big girls.

San Lazaro Leisure Park

Yesterday, we did drive to San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite for some afternoon activities. The sprawling racetrack can be compared to the best racing facilities in the world today. We have dinner there, watched the horserace and make fun bets in between bites.

The Magical Land of "Kaos"

Yesterday, we watched the visual and musical spectacle show called "Kaos" (Chaos)at the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila. The 1500-seat theater boasts of the largest LED wall ever built in the Philippines as well as state of the art lights and sound technology. I have never seen anything like this, amazing acrobats, breathtaking stunts, illusions, magic, dance and music in one timeless tale of love and adventure. We really enjoyed the show and leave us speechless for a moment. One of my favorite part are the real animals on stage- two tigers and Kaos, the famous real and very rare white lion. Go watch Kaos if you can, its really fantastic, you dont need to travel to other country to watch a world class show.

Homeowners Meeting

Only few homeowners of Southforbes villas attended the meeting with the Cathay people yesterday. Dirk is one of the member of the financial committee and they have a pre-discussion in our place before the actual meeting. Problems and questions were raised in the meeting about the liquidation of budgets thats why a spontaneous meeting only with the financial group followed after a short lunch break. They discussed the financial statement in details and work on possible solutions to SF villas maintenance cost problem.

The "Racks" Night

After our short visit to the San Lazaro racetrack in Carmona, Cavite, we decided to have dinner at The Racks in Paseo. It is famous for its original cooked baby back ribs. After tasting that again, I instantly loved the ribs. I believe it is the best ribs I have ever eaten in my life. Another good thing about the restaurant is the very fast and helpful service they have. Thanks again to the Sawyers for a wonderful evening and dinner.

An Afternoon with Friends

After our sumptuous lunch at canlubang golf restaurant, our big boys proceed to hole number one for an 18-hole golfplay. We then drive to Paseo de Santa Rosa for window shopping and halo halo eating at Razons. It was followed by more girly talks and the never ending funny anecdotes at Lucy's place.
