Pictorial Queens

Yesterday, we ordered again our favorite hot waffle and apple strudel with vanilla ice cream at Palazzo restaurant. We also sit in our favorite spot inside the restaurant while other prefer to enjoy the sunny weather outside.

Reesie and Jaime's Wedding

I met Reesie through Barrio Siete, a collective blog by a group of bloggers. She is one of the B7 writer while i am one of the contributor. Since the birth of Barrio Siete, we also developed a mother-daughter tandem. I called her my e-daughter and i am her web mother. She's based in New Mexico and we even exchanged gifts and souvenirs. Last August 12, she married her longtime boyfriend Jaime in Las Vegas. To you Reesie and Jaime, Congratulations and i wish you a successful married life.

Monday with Friends

It really boosts my appetite when i'm eating together with my friends. It started with a snack at our favorite Palazzo restaurant eating (again) hot waffle with vanilla ice cream. In between our hot and cold snack, Lucy and me talked about future plans and family life.




It was followed by dinner at Lani's place. She cooked Udong (Davao's specialty they said and its my first time to taste this food) and grilled meats.

Michelle's Birthday

Last sunday, we attended the 9th birthday of Michelle, the youngest daughter of Lalaine and Michael König. She shared the same birthdate with my german stepfather (deceased) Papa Eugen Kirchgessner who was born August 8, 1908 (08/08/08).




I still remember 9 years ago that Michelle was still in her mother's womb when i arrived here in Germany. Lalaine was the very first Filipina that i met and their company was my first employer. I'm really very grateful to them for earning my first Deutschmark here in Germany.


Her birthday celebration was attended mostly by relatives and close friends. Lalaine and her family prepared different german salads while her ever supportive husband grilled meats, sausages and barbeques.

An Afternoon with Friends

The weather is so nice today that we visited our favorite Italian coffee/ice cream shop in Offenburg. Of course, i ordered my favorite hot waffle with vanilla ice cream. We also browsed around the city and joined Michael and Grace at Palazzo.

Wednesday at Palazzo

Today, Lucy and me eat again our favorite snack at Palazzo in Offenburg. Her favorite is apple strudel and i like very much the hot waffle and we combined it with vanilla ice cream, yummy.....



I also helped Agnes to transport some of her stuff to her new home because of the nice weather. Luisa, her daughter was very happy to be reunited with her favorite plastic stool.

The Sick Cool Mom

The weather is really strange, its raining hard with thunderstorm the other day and now its very sunny. I became busy the past days with housework and friends thats why i was not able to update my blogs. I am also not feeling well today because of acid reflux. The medicines that i'm taking has no more effects so i need to see a doctor in the coming day.
