I am very happy to see my South Forbes friends again, actually its a late birthday celebrations of our good friend Yna Haskett. They just came back from Canada and we met at Canlubang Golf Course for lunch and friends talk. I still remember when Dirk is still playing golf there, after their play, we always meet for lunch in the restaurant overlooking the golf course.
All Saints Day is a Christian celebration every first day of November in honor of all the Saints who intercedes for us before God. I always thanked them for the guidance and helping us in our everyday lives. And today, we commemorate all our departed loved ones, family, friends, neighbors and classmates. Everyday, i always included them in my rosary prayer, they are gone but not forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever. Together with my sisters, we visited the grave of my mother and brother at Everlasting Memorial Park in San Pedro. We do it a day in advance to avoid the crowd and its so nice to be with my sisters that it is like a sort of family bonding. I know all our dead family members are happy out there, i will continue to pray for them and eternal peace grant unto them O Lord.
Everyday, Dirk and me are wearing our medical alert bracelets engraved with our medical informations. It is very important because in case of emergency, the responder will know our chronic medical conditions, food and drug allergy, important medications and contact number of my daughter. Special thanks to my daughter Arianne for her effort to provide us this medalert wristband.
Last week is a little bit busy for us because of my blood test and doctors appointment. Wilcon deliveries are now almost complete and Casa Belle already had its stairs. While buying additional construction materials, we encountered heavy flooding and rainstorm along Santa Rosa but we are surprised that in San Pedro is very sunny. Anyway, as usual Dirk was able to swim at SF pool, had lunch at our favorite Chicken Deli. I was also able to see my youngest sister putting her christmas tree and other decorations.
It was a busy friday for the B's, we started our day by Dirk dipping in the pool of South Forbes Villas. We then drive to Thomas house for some catching up moment. After our german chit chat, we then do some grocery shopping at S&R and renewed my membership card. Our lunch was at Razon before heading to St. Peter office for payback application and municipal hall of San Pedro for some real estate documents.
Yesterday marked the first death anniversary of my only brother Manuel Jr. Because of my doctors appointment, i was not able to join them for prayer and the visit to the memorial park. Its been a year but his memory will be in our hearts forever.
Today we decided to have lunch at Gerry's Grill and feasted on grilled liempo, veggies and pork sisig. That is for a change because Dirk's favorite is the korean restaurant.
While they already ease the restrictions on health protocols against covid 19 virus, we are still very careful and still wear face masks when we're outside our home. We are both seniors and immuno compromised so we really need extra protection for our own safety.
