It was a busy friday for the B's, we started our day by Dirk dipping in the pool of South Forbes Villas. We then drive to Thomas house for some catching up moment. After our german chit chat, we then do some grocery shopping at S&R and renewed my membership card. Our lunch was at Razon before heading to St. Peter office for payback application and municipal hall of San Pedro for some real estate documents.
Yesterday marked the first death anniversary of my only brother Manuel Jr. Because of my doctors appointment, i was not able to join them for prayer and the visit to the memorial park. Its been a year but his memory will be in our hearts forever.
Today we decided to have lunch at Gerry's Grill and feasted on grilled liempo, veggies and pork sisig. That is for a change because Dirk's favorite is the korean restaurant.
While they already ease the restrictions on health protocols against covid 19 virus, we are still very careful and still wear face masks when we're outside our home. We are both seniors and immuno compromised so we really need extra protection for our own safety.
Christmas is just around the corner and i am really craving for my favorite puto bumbong. With the help of you tube, i was able to make my own version and it seems not bad on my first try, at least craving satisfied.
With the ongoing construction of Belle's house, we still have time for our personal needs like upgrading our eyeglasses. I have mine in Ayala mall solenad in Nuvali while dirk got his at Executive Optical at Southwoods mall. We also have our car washed, do some grocery shopping, canvassing construction materials and i am back to my baking hobby after nine months of hiatus.
Today, the best mother on earth, Mama Mary is celebrating her birthday. I am really very thankful, grateful and blessed to have a great mother who understands me. Her love is unconditional and always there during the difficult times of my life. Thank you very much Mama Mary for the love, care. support and for all you've done to me and my family. Happy birthday and we love you very very much.
Our good family neighbor friends Jim and Yna are back in Canada meeting my daughter Belle at Calgary Airport. I did send some foods and stuff for her to feel at home because its been five years since they come here for a vacation.
