My Birthday at Loboc River Cruise

 After all my health issues, pandemic, family problems, i thank God for adding another year in my life. This year, we decided to celebrate my birthday in Bohol particularly in Loboc River. The cruise guests greeted me and the singers sings Happy birthday to me twice. Dirk was very happy as if he is the celebrant. We enjoyed the food very much and the weather cooperated with us. Words are not enough to express my gratefulness to my family and friends for their warm wishes and greetings. Special thanks to my OFW daughters for their cash gifts which we used for our Bohol adventure.

Travelling Again

 Last May 9, election day, after i cast my vote at Langgam Elementary School, we flew to Bohol to celebrate my birthday and for a much needed rest and recreation. Anyway, we now have new government officials and hopefully, they will do their best to improve the economy and the living conditions of the people. Its not our first time in Bohol, we've been there before but now there are lots of improvements. The  name of the new airport is Panglao International Airport. We are very happy because finally after the pandemics, we are on the sky again. Travelling is good for our well being, new ambience and meeting new friends.

Mother's Day Celebrations

Mother's day is the special time of the year to honor and a great time to show our love to our mother, grandmothers and any other mother figure in our lives. As they said, there is no role in life that is more important than that of motherhood, mothers who hold their kids hearts forever. I am very grateful that all the mothers of my grandchildren are good moms. Happy mom's day to Mama Mary, my mother in heaven and to all the great mother's out there. We celebrated this special day with a small family get together and it is also the advance celebration of my birthday.

Second Booster Shot

 Dirk has his second dose of Pfizer booster shot today at Southwoods mall. He is very happy because there are just few people getting their jabs there. For me, i decided not to have booster shots anymore because of what happened last Januaary. I got hospitalized because of palpitation and higher heart rate after getting the first dose. Anyway, its my fault because i just think of a protection against Covid but i didn't thought of my heart ailment.

The Farm

Our caretaker and helper Mang Rey planted some trees and vegetables in the vacant lot beside the house. Now its bearing fruits and i am very happy looking at it. Hopefully the banana will grow more bigger so that we can share it to others. By the way, our birds are getting noisier and i realized that i need to clean their cage daily, change their water and foods everyday. It makes me busy tending to their needs.

Update on my Condition

 Its been a week since my minor accident where i have a sprained, bruised and fractured ankle. Its still under observation but the swelling subside a little bit. But the pain is so horrible it affects my sleeping at night. As much as possible, i do not want to take more medicines so i endure the pain. Anyway, i tried to drive, bought our food supplies, Dirk's swimming at SF and other errands.
