Though we are not anymore living in our South Forbes house, we make it a point to visit once every week for Dirk's swimming, visiting friends and do some errands. We also did some maintenance for our car, shopping, lunch at Peri-peri Nuvali and browsing around Harmony Mall.
First of all, happy hearts day to everyone. Because of the pandemic, we really don't celebrate valentines day. But this year is different because we were surprised when my daughter Astrid who is an OFW in Qatar expressed her love to us by sending heart cake from red ribbon and our favorite chowking lauriat. Of course, we are really very happy for the surprise valentine gifts. Anyway, thank you very much my wonderful daughter and to all my children who also send greetings on this special day.
Our weekend start by having an early lunch at Kenny Rogers feasting on our favorite pizza while waiting for our dentist to arrive. We have an appointment at Crown Dentistry for Dirk's dental cleaning and filling. Its good that he has his own PPEs which lessened the cost. We then proceed at Executive Optical at Southwood Mall for his new eyeglass. I am happy that i can now walk in the mall but i don't pressure myself, i stop when i felt that i am out of breath. Anyway, our night ends by going to my follow up check up at Perpetual Help Medical Center . My Cardiologist adjusted some of my medicines and i am going to have a blood test again after two weeks.
Because of the Covid surge and my hospitalization, i was not able to see my south forbes friends. Its been a while since i last saw them and its good that yesterday Yna invited us for coffee time. We did a lot of errands yesterday and after we accomplished everything, i met them at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Though we chat a lot at FB messenger, its much better face to face. Over coffee and cake, we do a lot of updating on each others lives. I was also able to see Mariz and Mau and i am really very happy to see them all.
We are now living a very simple life here in our new place and Dirk is very much fully adjusted to our way of living here. Unlike in South Forbes , we are surrounded by rich people and our lifestyle there is different. Now its much better because i am near to my sisters, children, grandchildren and relatives. I just order foods for dirk and my daughter Arianne cooked most of my healthy meals. Dirk also learned to buy street foods near our house and he loves it. He also gained some friends and every afternoon they have a so called Juice time.
My mother in law Helga Bachmann turned 92 yesterday, February 4. She also shared the same birth date with my mother and only brother Awe. While Mutti celebrated her birthday with her closest friends in a german restaurant in the Rhine River, we also had a small family gathering to celebrate the special day of our loved ones. Its my first time to be out of the house since my discharge and i would say that i am really not that fit but i need to do some walking exercise. Anyway, i am very happy to see once again my family especially my grandchildren.
I would say that i am not still one hundred percent okey but i am doing my best to get there. There's no chance for me to recover fully because my sickness is already there since i was a kid. I am still on my trial meds for two weeks and hopefully i will not experienced any reactions. Every morning, i also stayed 15 minutes under the sun for my Vitamin D. I just hope and pray that i will be getting better so that i can return to my normal lives.
