Rest in Peace Les.

 A very good friend of ours and the husband of my lannging has a sudden death last wednesday while playing golf. He just collapsed, suffered heart attack and was dead on arrival at the hospital. We are in deep sorrow because we lost a very good friend and a  kind, loving husband to Mabel. We are supposed to meet at the golf course restaurant for some lunch after their golf but it happened. He is now in the hands of the Lord and will always pray for the eternal repose of his soul.

Back to Zumba

 Our zumba session was put on halt because of the pandemic but now its again open to South Forbes residents only. We really need to be careful with regards to health and safety protocols thats why the Admin decided that its for homeowners only and the zumba instructor also lives here. It was nice seeing again our neighbor friends and hopefully there will be more participants in the coming days...

The Bread Basket

 We are very lucky that our place is near all the commercial establishments  and shopping malls. In Vista Mall, they recently opened a Bread Basket with coffee shop and all kinds of cakes and pantries. They also have a nice ambience with lots of different kinds, colors and shapes of baskets. 

The bread store is just beside our favorite Chicken Deli where we had our lunch yesterday...

Happy Father's Day

 Today, we honor all fathers  for their love and sacrifice for the family.  Happy Father's day to our Almighty Father in heaven, to my better half Dirk, my sons, brother, my father, step father. father in law in heaven and to all Dads here, there and everywhere. By the way, we celebrated this day by having lunch at one of our favorite Japanese restaurant. All fathers and father figures in the family play a very important role  and they deserved love and respect from us.

A Busy Week

 The pandemic is not far from over but it seems that we are slowly going back to our normal lives. Dirk return to his normal swimming routine in the morning. We also have lunch outs instead of take outs, and he enjoyed dining al fresco. I was also able to visit Chay at Lhed's house, monitor the canopy installation and a short visit to our mini farm.
