The Ladies in Stripe

 After a tough and challenging year, we deserved to spend happy moments with neighbor friends. Following health and safety protocols, we are very careful in interacting with them. Our stripey party was held at Mariz' home and it was fun. Though i am not feeling well that time because of my acid reflux, i still joined them. As always, foods are potluck and we even have some zumba session after eating. Sometimes big girls just wanted to have fun, after all its what we need after 9 months in isolation.

Christmas Day with Friends

 After celebrating the holiday with my family and loved ones, we also spend christmas  with friends. This year, the Huston family is our host and we had a great time. Actually, its the first time after 9 months that our husbands bond with each other because of the pandemic. As usual, Dirk don't stay long, he is always the eat and run type. Anyway, we really felt the love and concern of our neighbor friends and we also received gifts from them. This is a late post but still, i want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a blessed/happy new year ahead of us. 

Team Abroad's Christmas Celebrations

 Time flies so fast that its already a decade that my daughter Rose Belle is celebrating Christmas away from home and so with Astrid/Buddy in Qatar.  On this occasion, we are just sending lots of love and good wishes for them. They are also celebrating their own Christmas and i know they are happy seeing us through video calls. That is one of the advantage of new technology, they make families and loved ones closer even they are thousand miles away.  May 2021 be a better year for everyone and i wish they can reunite with us soon, explore life again with the new normal and lessons learned. 

Celebrating Christmas With Family

 In this time of pandemic, celebrating christmas with family at home becomes the best options.  Christmas is all about love and family and it doesn't matter how we celebrate as long as the holidays are spent with our loved ones. For the past years, we are celebrating christmas in restaurants that is accessible for everybody. Now that the Casa ManaRosa is finished, we decided to have our family christmas bonding and gift giving there. The foods, drinks and fun overwhelmed the new house. Its really the time to appreciate the love and importance of family & express our gratefulness for every blessings we received.

Family Thanksgiving

 Our sharing is caring family outreach program is now on its 4th year and even in this time of pandemic we still tried to help other people.  Our christmas presents includes groceries food stuff for 56 families and 120 goodies for kids. To follow the health and safety protocols we required them to wear face mask and follow social distancing. We do not have kiddy programs, games, feeding and  raffle this year following the guidelines of IATF. Its our family's way of giving back for all the blessings we received. Every time we care and share, we glorify our Lord Jesus Christ and his faithfulness to mankind. Thanks to our donors, my brother in Law Joey Paz and sis Myra, my daughters Rose Belle, Astrid, Princess, Arianne, Joseph and to those who in one way or another helped and support our yearly family thanksgiving outreach.
