In honor of our dear departed friend, Tiarra, a Holy Mass was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bel Air. It was attended by her family and close friends and after the mass, her Urn was blessed by the Parish Priest. We also continue a prayer vigil for her and may she rest in peace.
Its been a while since we last attended a birthday celebrations because of Covid 19 where social gatherings are not allowed. But because we are now in a modified general community quarantine, there are some restrictions that are already lifted provided health and safety protocols are being observed. I am now again reconnected with friends by attending get together and birthday celebrations. As you can see in the pictures, never i did removed my face masks to protect myself. Taking care of oneself and boosting our immune system is very important to fight this virus. In this time of pandemic, we should avoid doing things that are really not essential and keep safe always.
On a sad note, one of our dear friend Tiarra Jean passed away last night because of colon cancer. She is a good mom, almost perfect wife, friend and everything. May her soul rest in peace.
Its been a while since i did meet ups with my friends and neighbors. This pandemic prevented us from doing so but its understandable because its for our own safety. The community quarantine is getting lighter and slowly we can now do some activities, bonding with friends included.
Our place is still under general community quarantine but it seems people are taking this lightly and not following safety protocols. On our part, we are still very careful though Dirk now prefer to dined outside but of course i see to it that he is safe. It is understandable because most of the time he is just at home during the pandemics. He is also very happy to visit the construction site and even suggested some inputs.
By the way, we played as furparent for a day to a lost dog who eventually found her masters with the help of our village security guard.
In this time of pandemic, we need to put things in our home and cars that will protect us from Corona Virus. We really never expect that we are going to put alcohol, nasal hygiene, air mist disinfectants, pepper spray, face masks/shields and many more in our cars. But these things are very important and so with following the health safety and protocols to avoid virus transmission.
Finally after six months, i was able to pampered myself with foot spa, manicure, pedicure and haircut. In this new normal, the beauticians wear personal protective equipment or PPEs and there is a barrier between the customer and manicurist. They are just following the health protocols for the customers to be safe from virus transmission. For me, the biggest defense against covid 19 aside from adhering to health guidelines are prayers and boosting immune system.
