The Aftermath

Two days after the Taal Volcano eruption, our place seemed to be like a ghostown. Everything is covered with ashfall and decayed some of our plants. Its really horrible going outside because of the thick sands but we need to buy some of our basic needs. The big problem is the cleaning part in which we cannot rely on maintenance workers so we need to find somebody to do the job. It will take time to recover but we're praying and hoping that everything will be fine soon. Our greatest fear is the imminent big eruption which will happen anytime . In this time of disaster, i know GOD is with us and HE will help us. Praying for those badly affected and hoping we'll  get through this in due time.

Sunday Family Bonding

My sisters and nieces visited us last sunday here in South Forbes. We had a very good time, reminiscing our experiences before with my mother travelling down memory lanes of our childhood. After our lunch, they decided to go swimming when we heard the news of the eruption of Taal Volcano. We ignored it thinking that it will not get serious but sooner there's already ashfall everywhere. I told my relatives to leave our place as soon as possible and they did. I tried to save our cars outside by driving it to our garage. Its a little bit late but my daughter Astrid think that its more safer there. True enough soon our area is already covered with thick sands and its really smelly because of the sulfur compound in it. My heart goes to those living in the vicinity of the volcanoes where they lost their houses, pets and their source of income.

Family Event and Friends

The best way to start the first week of 2020 is bonding with friends and family. My grandson Jarred turned 7 with a childrens party at Jollibee Pacita. The kids and big kids enjoyed the parlor games, the giveaways, the foods and the mascot. The birthday celebrations gives me the opportunity to bond with my family, friends and relatives.

New Year Celebrations

Every year, we always make it a point to spend the change of year in our home sweet home. But prior to that we have a small get together at a friend's house and before the strike of 12 midnight i am back home to be with hubby to watch fireworks in our terrace. We also dined at Pork Heroes Korean buffet restaurant on the first day of the year...
