1st Southforbes Bowling Tournament

Our first bowling tournament which was held yesterday at The Mills was a success. This is a project of socials committee where i am a member to be able to reach out with our neighbors. The friendly competition was fun and we enjoyed the game very much. We are grouped in 6 teams and i belong to the black team. Thank God i did it again, being the highest scorer, tournament's spiker and we are second in team standing. I won several gift certificates from starbucks which i will used for my blowout victory to my neighbor friends. I can see the happiness, bonding and enjoyment of the homeowners and hopefully they will support again our next project and activities.

Back to Zumba

Because of our vacation in Boracay, i was not able to join my friends in our zumba session. But now i'm catching up with them ....

Greenbelt Adventure

Together with our neighbor friends, we did go again to Makati area via point to point bus. It was really convenient and we save money because of this big bus. This time, the bus is almost full which means that many people are now aware and getting more practical. We browsed around Landmark/Greenbelt and had lunch at Oyster bar Via Mare restaurant. With good food plus good friends= good times.

National Teachers' Month

It was declared that september 5 to october 5 is national teachers month. This declaration calls for a nationwide celebration for teachers. As a teacher myself, we change the lives of our students. We are not just responsible for their academic enrichment but we also serve as influential role models for them. I've been a teacher before but our functions is not limited to our students but for my grandkids and other children as well. Life is a continuing process wherein everyday is a new learning experience....

Boracay, September 2017

Our boracay adventure has just ended and though dirk was not able to swim because of the big waves, we did enjoy our vacation. Compare to last year, there are really lots of improvement in this beautiful island. The airport is now bigger and so are the planes, there's already a city mall, more e-trikes and hotels. The only problem is its getting congested with the influx of tourists thats why its better to stay away from the crowded area which is station 2. We are doing our boracay trip every year as a getaway away from the hustles and bustles of city life.
