Canada, our Second Home

We considered Canada now as our second home because my kids and grandkids are based here. We thanked God for the safe flight and smooth arrival. The good thing my better half survived the long flight, his first since his stroke. Its my second time here so more or less I already know the area. We already did our shopping and meet some of our friends.

Ready to Go

Tomorrow is our flight to Canada and i pray to the Lord for a safe and smooth flight since its Dirk's first time to travel long distance since his stroke five years ago.

Zumba@Vista Mall

After 5 months, we're back to our zumba fitness at Vista Mall. Its a free one hour zumba for those who want to stay fit and to those who want to lose some kilos. Hopefully we can do this regularly when we return from our vacation.

Mabel's Advance Birthday Treat

Mabel, a close neighbor friend of ours treated us for a sumptuous lunch at the newly opened Italiannis restaurant in Vista Mall. It was followed by a coffee time at a nearby Coffee Project for more wifey and girly talks. It was her advance birthday celebrations because some of us will be leaving for vacation and they are also going to United Kingdom to visit Les family.

Southforbes Election

We just elected three board of directors for southforbes homeowners association who will serve and represent our community for two years. Actually the winning BOD's are just returnees because the team also hold the same position four years ago. Atty. Larry, Raymond and Josie are good leaders and they really performed their pro bono task well.

Dirk's Pampering Day

The barber shop at SM santa rosa now becomes dirk's favorite pampering place. Aside from haircut and shaving, he also got a free back massage.

speaking of favorite, the newly opened Italiannis at Vusta Mall also becomes our extended kitchen since it open a week ago.
