General Santos Trip

General Santos is the gateway to Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, and Cotabato provinces. Its our first time in the place and thanks to my best friend Nene who toured us around Gensan. We're supposed to visit their place in Sultan Kudarat and Lake Sebu but due to the ongoing military operations against BIFF, we cancelled our trip for security reasons. We stayed in two hotels, the East Asia Royale and Microtel by Wyndham GenSan. We visited the GenSan Fishport, London beach and all the malls surrounding the city. It was a nice Mindanao experience and i hope and pray that peace will reign in this area soon for there are lots of innocent people that are very much affected

Lunch at Union Jack Tavern

Thanks to the Sawyers who granted Dirks request for a lunchout at Union Jack Tavern in Alabang. Its an English restaurant and every sunday they have a buffet consisting of lamb, turkey, baked potatoes and many more. For dessert they offer apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. Dirk liked it very much and the price of the buffet are reasonable as well.

Happy Chinese New Year

Good luck, fortune and great success for all of us especially to all my chinese friends. We spend the first days of the lunar chinese new year by having lunch at Uncle Cheffy's in Nuvali and bonding with my good friend Evelyn at SM santa rosa the next day.

The Hoffman's Visit

Now its the turn of Weng and Heinz Hoffman to visit our place here in southforbes. We're there at their place in Tagaytay country homes last friday and its really a nice house... too big for two persons. They are our newfound friends but will return soon to Germany.

Day's Despedida Treat

Our friend Bernadette or Day will leave this week to Texas, USA to be with her love. For her send off treat, we did have dinner at Ryuma, a Japanese restaurant in Paseo de santa rosa. We received lots of valentine treats from the restaurant and the kids also has their share of toys. We just wish her all the best to her new journey in life.
