Lions Club International Recognition Night

Yesterday, we attended the recognition night for Lions Clubs International which was held at Splendido Taal Lake Hotel and Golf course. The Governor and the committee gave awards for the exemplary performance of clubs and members for the year 2013-14. It was a night of glitz, glamour and good foods for the members arrived in their best attire. There is also a live music in which the members performed their best in the dance floor.

Happy Father's Day

Today we're celebrating dads day to all great tatay out there. I still miss my father because i am his favorite daughter. He is gone seventeen years ago but he's not forgotten. Dirk is also a great dad to my kiddos and his only daughter Janine. I salute all the tatay who gave their kids unconditional love and serve as the strength in the family.

Bonding with Family and Friends

For the past days i was not able to blog because we don't have internet connections at home. Heavy rains and strong wind somehow affect the cable connections outside our house but it was fixed now, thanks God. And during the hiatus days, i was able to bond with family and friends. We celebrated Kiefer's 1st birthday at Max Pacita and i'm very happy to see my kids and grandchildren. Together with a german friend, my sisters also visited us at home. I also enjoyed the company of my fellow Lion neighbor friends at Shepherd's house where we feasted on indian mangoes and suman.

Lunch at Seda Hotel Nuvali

Yesterday we decided to have lunch at the newly opened Seda Hotel in Nuvali. The hotel was nice, the staff are friendly and the foods are great. I'm really very happy that we built our retirement haven here because sooner, its the Makati of the south.
