Relief Drive

The devastation brought by the super typhoon Yolanda in Leyte and other provinces is really heartbreaking. But amidst of all these, the Filipino bayanihan spirit is very much alive. Helps from our kababayans and other countries are continue to pour to help the victims. In our own way, the Southforbes Homeowners Association is also conducting a relief drive, please donate usable clothes, blankets, slippers, canned goods, biscuits, noodles, bottled water and medicines. We need to share our blessings to the unfortunate.... because sharing is caring.

Storms and Earthquakes

Three weeks ago a deadly earthquake hits parts of Bicol,Cebu and other parts of visayan provinces. Yesterday, the strongest thyphoon on earth hit a number of areas in the Philippines with winds up to 250kph. Though our area was spared by the earthquake, typhoon Yolanda shows its agressivenes in our place. We experience the wrath and fury of the storm and Thanks God nobody was hurt and the damages are minimal. We're already used to these calamities but because of a strong spirit and bayanihan from the people, we always survive all these trials. God is with us always and he makes sure we rise up as well. In these times, prayers helps a lot.

Meet my new companion, the blackberry z10, a 4G touchscreen based smartphone developed by BlackBerry. I was surprised by this phone because of its user-friendly features.

SFV Christmas Committee

Our committee is in charge of the christmas decorations around the village and the thanksgiving party which will be held on December 14 in our main clubhouse. Its going to be a lot of work but with proper planning and teamwork among members/homeowners it will be fine. Last night, our second SFV meeting was held again at Lim's residence where we discussed the next steps, schedules, programs and other preparations.

Christmas is in the Air

Christmas is just around the corner and proofs are the christmas carols we hear everywhere and the colorful decorations around. Christmas is a little bit stressful so we need to organize things to minimize stress during this festive season. We also started to feel the christmas spirit because of the cold air at night. By the way, we have fun taking pictures at home and at Valenza Crown Asia because of nice christmas decorations. Let the pictures speaks for themselves.

My Christmas Decorations

This year, our theme for decorations are santa claus and christmas tree. Both symbolizes christmas, the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ and without these two, christmas is not meaningful. I started my decorations earlier because Dirk missed this last year. I'm really very happy because his recovery is very fast and i thanked God, my family and friends for helping me survive the trials.
