Southforbes Families at the Mills

I just returned from the all filipino family day at the Mills and Country club. It served as a bonding moments for our homeowners and their families. We're tired of the hectic pace of life and we need some form of recreation and relaxation. Playing billiard, dart and bowling keep us more closer and i'm very proud of our newfound
ties with our neighbor friends. We enjoyed it very much, the friendly competition, the fun, the laughter and the happiness that money can't buy.

Bowling with Friends

Bowling is a highly flexible sport and the most popular as well. Its a good form of relaxation and recreation with health benefits. Aside from promoting good muscle exercises, it also builds friendship which is based on the kind of relationship that is being built with our friends and family. Its already my second time this week to play bowling with my friends and we really have lots of fun.

Day's Birthday

Happy Three Kings to All!!! Today, our newfound friend Bernadette or Day as we fondly called her celebrated her birthday at Fortezza clubhouse in Cabuyao. They are playing bowling at Starmall in Alabang when we met them last year. We shared the same passion for the game and since then we became acquaintance. To you Day, happy birthday again and wishing you all the best in life.

Sportive Day

Health is wealth thats why good diet and sports are necessary in maintaining our health and physical fitness. Together with our neighbor friends, we did drive to Canlubang yesterday for some sporty activities. After our lunch at the golf course restaurant, the men in our lives played golf while their first ladies played bowling at the Mills Country Club.

Evelyn's Birthday

Evelyn, a very good friend of ours celebrated her birthday last January 3. For us who are semi-retired, attending parties is a nice way of starting the new year. Its my first time to taste the Canlubang pride, lumpiang sariwa, buko pie, cassava cake and pancit palabok. It tastes soooo delicious the same with the birthday girl specialties, ginataang bilo bilo and graham cake.

The Year That Was

Millions of people around the world have welcomed 2011 with fireworks and high hopes. I am very thankful to GOD and MAMA MARY for all the wonderful blessings for the past years. God is good indeed to me and to my loved ones. Though its normal to have ups and downs in life, good things overwhelmed in my life. Thanks to my ever supportive and loving husband Dirk, my family and friends. A million thanks to all my readers and commenters for all the inspiring words.


By the way, my grandaughter Ulay celebrated her third birthday last January 1, best wishes to you apo from your Mama Lola.


Mutti left yesterday after spending the holidays with us. For me, she's one of the best mother in the world. We spend Mutti's last day here in the Philippines by having lunch at Canlubang Golf course.
