Thomas' Birthday

Yesterday, we attended Thomas' birthday at their place in Lahr. His grill party was attended by his family and close friends. While the boys are hanging out in their spanish-theme garden, the kids and big kids are enjoying the whirlpool and swimming pool. Thomas' parents also played table tennis, so its more of a wellness party as well.

Revisiting Köln

Köln or Cologne is Germany's fourth largest city and the birthplace of Dirk. Last tuesday, after attending Gwen's birthday brunch, we did drive to Köln to visit Mutti and Dirk's brother. Though Mutti is not feeling well because of her back pain, we still have a great time with her.







Everytime we're in Köln, we always visit the Kölner Dom which is one of Europe's most spectacular cathedral and holds the record of the biggest church facade in the world.





And of course my favorite Louis Vuitton shop



Thousands of tourists visits the Cologne Cathedral everyday and its a good sight the human figures in artworks.

Gwen's Birthday

Last sunday was Gwen's birthday and our fashionista celebrated her birthday three times, with her family, colleague and friends. Tuesday was set aside for brunch at their residence and she prepared filipino foods. It's my first time to drive there and i got lost because of on-going road construction. Laughter and enjoyment filled their house but i have to leave early because we're driving to Köln to visit Mutti.

World Cup 2010- Germany in Semi-Finals

Germany enter the semi-finals after producing another masterful performance to beat Argentina 4-0 at Cape Town’s Green Point Stadium. We watched the game at Elena's place together with some friends. Its my first time to watch after our return last sunday and the german team are really the best football player of all times and they deserve to win. Next match for Germany will be against the winner between Spain and Paraguay.

Friends and the City

Offenburg is a city located in the state of Baden-Württemberg here in Germany and its a perfect place for meeting my friends. So last tuesday, after being away for two months, we agreed to meet there to give them my presents from the Philippines. We also visited Anjelica because her sister gave something for her as well. Anjelica is also a blogger and she's the young fashionista behind modejunkie.blogspot.com.





She blogs about her passion for fashion and below is her cute son Miguel.





I also have coffee with Lucy, a dear friend and later joined by Jon.




We then visited Analyn having her hair done at Emrah Salon and she also showed us her newly operated "bumper". With her new cup category, hopefully it will boost her confidence and self-esteem.
