Litratong Pinoy- Makapal (Thick)

Happy New Year sa lahat ng miyembro ng LP. Ang tema ng ating weekly challenge para sa araw na ito ay makapal o thick sa wikang Ingles. Atin ding silipin ang lahok ng ibang kasapi sa Litratong Pinoy.

Sa tuwing kami'y nagbabakasyon sa Pilipinas, naglalaan talaga kami ng panahon upang pagtuunan ang aming sarili. Sa ating bansa mura ang body pampering tulad ng masahe at foot spa. Kailan lamang ay nagpa foot spa ang aking better half dahil MAKAPAL na raw ang kanyang kalyo sa paa.




MAKAPAL na Yelo naman ang naghihintay sa aming pagbabalik sa Alemanya. Sabi ng aking mga kaibigan doon, grabe daw ang lamig ngayon at napakahirap magmaneho sa snow. Kung pwede nga lang na mamalagi na rito subalit kailangan naming harapin ang ibang responsibilidad doon.



Bagama't napabayaan na ang Nayong Pilipino, MAKAPAL pa rin ang dahon ng mga tanim doon. Sana ay bigyan ng pansin ng ating pamahalaan ang paboritong field trip destination na ito ng ating mga mag aaral. Naging MAKAPAL na rin ang mga water lilies sa man-made lagoon doon.

The NAIA Terminal 3

My post is a continuation from yesterday. While waiting for the arrival of the Cebu Pacific flight from Kalibo, we have the chance to browsed around the new NAIA terminal 3. It's a pity that only domestic flights are allowed in this new airport because of the pending court cases. Hopefully, legal issues will be resolve soon so that we can utilize this international airport.

Tuesday Come and Go

Early morning today, we did drive Mutti at NAIA after her three-week stay here with us. Its good we did not encountered any traffic on the way there so we arrived earlier than expected. Mutti complained its still too early but its better to be there early than missed the plane.



Also on the same day, Arthur and Sweta arrived at NAIA 3 from Kalibo, Aklan. They just spend more than 4 weeks of island hopping. The did go to Bohol, Cebu, Malapascua and Boracay.



Before we drive at NAIA 3, we passed by the Nayong Pilipino. It's a pity that the area is now on its sorry state unlike before that it showcase the different provinces and tourits spots of our country in mini form. I remember before that its one of the favorite field trip destination of students, now its more of joggers path. Hopefully, the rehabilitation plan of Nayong Pilipino will push through.

Weekend Visitors

Last night, my sisters, children and relatives visited us at home. They just came from Tagaytay where they enjoy the scenic beauty of Taal Lake. They also passed by to say hello and goodbye to Mutti because she's going to leave on tuesday back to Germany. Over cup of cappuccino, ice cream and coke, we enjoyed the small and short talk before calling it a night.

The Alabang Town Center

For the first time, we did drive to the Alabang Town Center which is also near the Festival Mall. I was surprised that for years it evolved into a cosmopolitan center where people shop, browse, dine, socialize or simply watch life go by.




A good mix of shops (including two supermarkets), cinemas, trendy cafes, breezy walkways, sunshine-draped corridors, a tree-shaded circular plaza and lots of parking space make Alabang Town Center a very popular weekend destination. Another surprises for me are the Bread Talk and Esprit shops, now we don't need to drive to the Mall of Asia for my favorite bread and esprit items.





We have lunch at Italanni's restaurant where we have 20% discount because of my BFF customer card.

New Year, New Hope

Happy New Year to everybody especially to my family, friends, web friends, B7 and multiply group, readers and commenters. I'm wishing you all a successful, safe and healthy 2010.



We celebrated the new year with my family. I never get tired when my family is concern. I cooked for them and take care of my grandchildren. We celebrated earlier because of the youngest member of the family.








We have fun together, watched avatar movie, danced with dirk and karaoke challenge with my daughters.





Its our first christmas and new year in our retirement haven and i'm very grateful To GOD for all the wonderful blessings. I'm thanking HIM for guiding us during the construction of our house.





Its also our first time to spend new year with Mutti.
