A day with my Family

Yesterday i visited my children at our family house. They know beforehand that i'm coming and i told them its sermon time. My children knows me, i have to check their respective houses to see if everything is in order.

My first stop is arianne's house, it seems to be in order even if she just gave birth to baby Jaimee. Her house is located on the opposite street, its the very first house we built and was renovated.

Next is our family house where my eldest sister is the lady of the house, it seems that everybody was prepared. With my sister in command, everybody tried to be disciplined. Its in the big house where three of my children who already had a family lives. My two younger ones live with their eldest sister which occupy one third of the house. The white house is where my eldest son lives with his family.

Hopefully they will maintained properly their houses. I did not only educate them, i also gifted them their own place with the help of dirk and his family.

Protective Mask

I've learned my lessons. Last week, when the workers are polishing the granites for the flooring and baseboard, i have a bout of asthma attack. I did not protect myself that's why i have difficulties breathing when we arrived home. So i take bentolin and now roamed around the construction site with a protective mask.

Dirk's Day

Most of the things we have to do with regards to our house construction are more or less accomplished. There are just some minor details that need to be discuss with our contractor. The multi-line workers still had to put the roof tiles and we expect that our retirement house will be finished in two months time.

This week is going to be relaxing while we're preparing for our return to germany. So today, dirk take advantage of the cheaper hair cut and the gay also shaved his beard, what a service.

He also had his relaxing massage from Lynderm. Here in the Philippines, pampering services are cheaper compared to Europe, that's why we take advantage of the services while we're here.

Sunday with the Gays

We have an enjoyable day today. The gays and other high school friends of my daughter astrid joined us in our clubhouse villas swimming pool. It's really fun to be with them, they never run out of jokes.

Even in the swimming pool, they displayed their never ending gay antics.

I learned a lot of gay lingo to them. We all shared whatever foods is on the table, spaghetti, chicken, chips, pizza, breads, etc.

They don't take personally harsh jokes thrown at each other, they just laugh

Ice Cream on Wheels

It's supposed to be rainy season here in the Philippines but its super hot. The climate change is really taking its toll. The people are just making ways to refresh themselves by staying longer in airconditioned shopping malls. For those who find their homes as their comfort zones, there's an ice cream vendor reaching them to beat the heat.

Tagaytay Highlands

The Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club is home to Asia's most exciting golf course, as well as a plethora of sports and recreational amenities for golfers and non-golfers alike. The use of the country club facilities, access to midlands golf and its restaurant facilities are exclusive to members only.

It's been a long time wish of dirk to play at midlands golf club. Courtesy of a new chinese friend who is a member of the golf club, his wish come true today. They're supposed to play 18 holes but due to the lightning, they stopped at hole number 14.

The whole area was superb overlooking the taal volcano, in a lake within a lake.

The Amazing Couple

Though we belong to a different social networking sites, we still connects. Yesterday, we met the Yonzon couple, a multiply friend of Nona, at their posh Tagaytay home. Guia and Boboy were a picture of a proud parents and very successful in their field.

I really ran out of words how to describe them. They're very friendly, kind, down to earth, accommodating, humble, the adjectives never stops. Though its the first time we met them, there's one thing we all have in common, we're all bloggers.

They are a family of artists. There is artistry and creativity in every corner of the house.

They also served us with filipino delicacy called small bibingka from bibingkinitan, fresh buko juice and sweet mangoes. The coconut came from their own backyard.

Its really nice to talk to people whom you can intelligently chat with. We discussed lots of topics from parenting, gardening, arts, house construction, modern gadgets, new technologies, business and everything under the sun.

Thanks to Nona for introducing us to the Yonzon couple. And to you Boboy and Guia, thanks a lot for sharing your time with us. We enjoyed it very much.
