Tour Expo

Today we attended the tourism fair at SMX Convention Center at Mall of Asia. It is participated by different travel agencies, hotels, airlines and many others.

We tried to book a flight to hongkong with disneyland package for my kids in april but its more expensive. We also tried a boracay tour but the dates that we want is already fully booked.

There are lots of people who want to avail of the discounted tour only to find out that in the end its more expensive because of the ++++ in the amount.

In fairness, if you booked a trip this month its more cheaper because its very cold in hongkong and in summer the price is doubled. Some local flights and tours are also cheap.

Starbucks Meeting

Today i have a gym session with lucy while dirk and bryan plays golf. I noticed that lucy is really not in a gym mode and finished early. She said that she had no energy because of the previous days gym session. She showered while waiting for me doing the treadmill and swing exercise. After our gym session, we decided to go to the beauty salon for a haircut. She looked younger in her new haircut and this changed her aura and moods.

We then have lunch at shakeys again, its dirk's favorite.

The next stop is starbucks where we meet our young contractor/engineers. They are just in their late 20's but hardworking and look promising. They talked about the house plans and other concerns on the on-going construction.

Today, dirk conducted a seminar to more or less 500 students of Polytechnic University of the Philippines-San Pedro, Colegio de San Pedro, Saint Francis School and Saint Louis Anne Colleges.

The theme of the seminar is IT for young entrepreneurs. Dirk was not able to use his audio visual presentation because the beamer is not working and there's too much sunlight.

In his life as a consultant, dirk already made a thousand presentation and this one
is different because his audience are students. He delivered well his speech and encourage and motivate students to study harder to achieve one's goal. He also focused on the importance of information technology as a career and business opportunities.

Showbiz Day

While touring around southforbes tokyo mansion today, we noticed some GMA TV vans and crew. We learned that Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are doing some scenes for their teleseries, Ang babaeng hinugot sa aking tadyang.

Bonding with my Sister

Tomorrow is the birth anniversary of my late mother but we decided to visit her grave today. We prayed the rosary and offered flowers. Nay, i know you are happy wherever you are, we love you and will continue praying for your soul in heaven.

Its nice to be back to our family home where we had lots of happy memories with my mother. The house is the product of my mother's hardship and is now properly maintained by my youngest sister and her husband joey.

Also today, my second mother is celebrating her birthday. During the rough times, she's always there for my family so i really cant say no to her invitation to come to her small get together.

It serves as a bonding day for me and my youngest sister. We showed her the southforbes houses and we really enjoyed being together.

Monday Madness

It's again a very warm day. The golf course is closed so we decided to just hang around the clubhouse while the kids are enjoying the pool. Dirk also checked the construction site before the next concrete pouring starts.

We then drive to festival mall and have lunch at super bowl china restaurant. Dirk pampered daphne for a shopping spree at cinderella where we bought some stuff for her.


Our printer which we bought in germany needs a new ink. Its only here that dirk found out that it is made in the philippines. We browsed around the mall and there's no ink compatible to the philippine made, bought in germany printer, what a mess!!!!

Sunday with the Schwock

Though our house is not yet finished, some are quite curious about our insulated house. Today, oliver and his wife, a filipina from bohol visited us at southforbes. He work as IT specialist for the EU commission in manila and his wife works in a german company. Dirk showed to them our unfinished european style house.

We toured them around the golf course in which they enjoy the greens. They also joined dirk for a refreshing dip in our clubhouse swimming pool.


In the afternoon, my grandchildren also dropped by for a visit
