Dipolog Trip November 2019

Dipolog is known to be the gateway to Western Mindanao and the capital city of Zamboanga del Norte. It is also known as the Orchid City and offers a breathtaking sunsets and sumptuous delicacies making it a must see city in the south. I chose Dipolog because its the airport going to Dakak Beach Resort which is located in Dapitan City and a 45 minutes away. We have a very smooth flight and the weather really cooperated making our adventure a memorable one. We did a short trip around Dipolog where  life is so laidback and the people are so friendly. We also visited some landmarks in the area like the Dipolog Cathedral and  Punto del  Desembarco de Rizal. Historically, our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal was exiled in Dapitan because of his martyrdom and this place plays a very important role in our history books.
