After Lake Louise, we drive next to another lake which has blue green waters and extraordinary scenery because it is sheltered in the Valley of Ten Peaks. Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake and has a deep blue shade due to rock silt deposited into the lake because of melting glaciers. My nephew even climb on top of the stone- sharp mountain and seems to enjoy the scene up there.
