Rainy Monday

Its now rainy season here in our country but that didnt stop us from our regular lunchout either in nuvali, vista mall or in paseo. Going out is the only outlet of Dirk and that makes him happy.

Friends Day Out and more

I'm very happy that i am with good friends again this afternoon. Our catching up moments started with a late lunch at Mesa restaurant and coffee time at Starbucks. Time is not enough for all our ladies and motherly talks but there will always be a next get together...

By the way, Italiannis and H&M Vista Mall branches opened today. I'm glad that one of our favorite restaurant and clothing stores are getting closer to our home

Manila

I'm proud to be a Manilena being born, raised, studied and worked there. I'm even a member of Batang Maynila before and we have a lot of activities during city's anniversary. But those are things of the past, i just feel sad that the capital of our country is not the same as before. Anyway, we travelled there yesterday to buy some stuff in Divisoria and while going there its just reminiscing the good old days...

A Double Celebration

Last weekend, we attended the 50th birthday of Weng and the 25 years of marriage with her better half Raymond. Their family is one of the best active neighbors here in southforbes and the coolest husband and wife team that i ever know. The party was 80's inspired and most of the guests came in their retro get up. The foods, drinks and fun overwhelmed the party with lots of dancing headed by our zumba instructors. It was really a night of laughter with lots of chikahan from neighbor and friends.

Doggies on Mittens

Because of the warm weather, my doggies got wounds on their bodies not just one but a few. The past days they are restless and keep on scratching thats why i decided to bring them to their vet this morning. They are now on antibiotics and hopefully the ointment will help as well. I also bought mittens for them so that they will not scratch their wounds.

Back to Reality

My daughter Astrid and Buddy are again Qatar bound to resume work. With their vacation here in the Philippines, my children and their kids were able to dined, play and bond with them. They will surely be miss by the kids but they need to be back to reality of life as OFW. We're very thankful to them for sharing their blessings and may the Lord bless them always in their respective work.

Before heading to the airport, we visited first my grandson Jarred in the hospital. May God's healing mercy be upon him so that he will be back to his usual self.
