Superstar Virgo Cruise-March 19to24,2017

It was an amazing experience to board one of the Star cruises ship, the Superstar Virgo. We're lucky to be one of the inaugural passengers of the ship for it is the first time to sail in the Philippines. Making Manila now their homeport, the ship travels from manila to laoag, kaousheung taiwan, hongkong and back to manila till May this year. There are at least 2300 passengers onboard the first cruise and there is really a big problem on checking in and out. Its understandable because its their first time in manila but they should do something about it and so with the long lines in getting a table in their restaurants. We dont get bored for there are lots of activities and shows onboard. We didnt get out of the ship when it docked in Laoag because we've been there and it will be hard for Dirk to board the small ship going to the shores. Its low tide and the big ship with 13 floors and with a capacity of 2500 passengers plus more than one thousand crews in different nationalities, find it difficult to sail near the shore of Currimao in Laoag. The top couturier designer of the Philippines also showcased his creations with Asia's next top model finalists and Maxine Medina, Miss Philippines Universe. The passengers comprised mostly of families with kids, senior citizens, foreigners, politicians, models,singers, designers, actors, actresses, businessmen and many others. It was a nice journey, we met new friends, bond with the filipino crews, enjoyed the nightly shows and its a great cruise experience which we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
