Aqua Zumba

For a change, we attended an aqua zumba at Valenza crown asia near nuvali solenad. It was organized by Anytime fitness and we enjoyed it very much. Though i dont know how to swim, i find this water fitness very beneficial to all ages for it allows a person to exercise every muscles and joints in the body all at the same time. Water creates natural resistance which means every step is more challenging and helps tone our muscles. After our water workouts, we decided to visit Merydith and Geo, who offered us breakfast.

Our fitness didnt stop there, we also attended our regular zumba session in the evening

Menchie's Graduation

For four years, we have been supporting the studies of Menchie, the nanny of my grandson kitkit. I believe that education is very important in order for her to pursue her dreams so that she can help her family. I already fulfilled my promise to her late mother that we are going to finance her studies and now that she is finished, i know her mother in heaven is very happy. Because of her degree, she now has a job at Convergys, one of the leading call centers here in the Philippines.

Beating the Heat

Its officially summer here in the Philippines and we are all experiencing a very humid and hot temperature. The other day because of the power outage, we decided to watch a movie in ayala malls solenad instead of waiting for the restoration of electricity at home. And to beat the heat, dirk always swim in our clubhouse pool while my grandchildren uses their inflatable pool.

An 18th birthday is a big milestones in every womans life. This is the age of figuring out career choices to follow or what path to undertake. The daughter of my niece had a late birthday celebration at southforbes chateaux de paris last april 13. Her actual birthday is january 26 but they decided to celebrate it later in time for the end of semester and her aunt Mary Ann is coming from Germany. While setting up the venue, there is a heavy downpour which caused a 4-hour power failure but the celebration must go on and the program started at 9pm when the electricity was restored. Anyway, the debutante is very elegant with her gown and cocktail dress. She is an only child and i think she deserved the best on her once in a lifetime 18th birthday celebration.
