Chinese New Year Celebrations

Kung Hei Fat Choi or Happy chinese New Year. The chinese people and the Filipinos as well are hoping for a great life for the year of the wooden horse. Red is an important color in Chinese culture, symbolizing prosperity. We celebrated the first day of the chinese calendar at Union Jack Tavern for lunch and dinner at De Jesus house. Its also the late birthday celebration of Imee, the owner of the house and for passing the licensure exam of her daughter Maika.
